James “Jim” Joseph Moeller Jr., 64, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, April 26, 2019 at his home. Born July 30, 1954 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late James “Jake” Joseph Moeller Sr. and Shirley (Uhrich) Boyle. A graduate of Snider High School, Jim was a construction inspector with the State of Indiana, Department of Transportation, for 17 years and previously worked other construction jobs. Jim enjoyed playing pool/billiards, fishing, camping, and collecting classic cars and coins. He is survived by his sons, Jeremy Moeller and James “Jimmer” Joseph (Jeremy Daab) Moeller III, both of Fort Wayne; siblings, Bill (Laura) Moeller of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Tammie (David) Johann of Nashville, Ind.; and former spouse and mother of his children, Pamela Mapes of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia “Sis” Snyder, Shirley “Tiny” Christie, and Gloria “Hoot” McNabb. Funeral Service is 1:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Pastor Jim Conn officiating. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
