James W. Mourey

James W. Mourey, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, March 30th. Born in Monroeville, he was the son of the late Leonard and Eva Mourey. Jim attended the St. Jude Catholic Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and past member of American Legion Post #499. Jim farmed and then was employed in the manufacturing business, Ajax Tool & Die Co., and then entered the Real Estate business. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Mourey; his children, Cheryl (Kevin) Wagner of Naperville, Ill., David Mourey Sr. of Hoagland, Ind., Rick Mourey, Jeanne (Mike) Slain all of Fort Wayne, Ind., stepson, Bruce J. Stahl of Churubusco, Ind.; and sister, Maxine Rorick of Fort Wayne, Ind. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Orange Cemetery, Rome City, Ind., Rev. Osmon Ramos, F.M. officiating. Military Honors will be rendered courtesy of the American Legion Honor Guard – Post #381. Memorial Contributions can be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
