Jim, a mentor, advisor and friend (and funny too!). It was 1980 when I started working with Jim and Dolores. I was 19 years old. Over many formative years, Jim casually advised me on many things. Purchasing my first new car, first house and always had advise on any new boyfriends. My own Dad was sick with Alzheimer’s and Jim stepped in as a mentor and friend. He also made sure I was concentrating on the right things. Things I could change, not things I couldn’t. He was gentle with his coaching and often i didn’t realize how much he helped me until I looked back on this time in my life. He would be walking through the shop, stop, look at me, say one sentence, then continue walking. That sentence was often just the thought I needed. He will be missed.
