James E. Rupert

James Rupert, 79, passed away on April 15, 2021. He was born in Huntington, IN on September 1, 1941, a son of the late Everett and Mary Rupert. Jim retired from General Electric after 27 years. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. In his spare time Jim enjoyed wood working and spending time at the lake. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Rupert; children Carolyn Rupert and David (Shauna) Rupert; grandchildren, Noah Sutton, Malcolm Rupert, and Emalyn Rupert; siblings Patricia Tullis and Douglas (Jan) Rupert. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Monday, April 19, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Ft. Wayne, IN, with calling two hours prior. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association.
