James Roland Smith

James Roland Smith, age 68, of Albion, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Son of Calvin and Loretta (Stoner) Smith. He always put his family first, and made bad dad jokes then laughed at them, loved his grandkids more then anything in life, said, "that's what kept him living, living fifteen years longer then the doctors thought he would. Loved to be outside in the summer for hours at a time, and absolutely loved the Cubs and the Colts. Survived by his children Tim and Amy; Grandchildren Ryan, Kendra, Alissa, Nathaniel, and Taylor; sisters Jennie and Julie; brothers Jeff and Jay. Funeral services 12:00 P.M. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Funeral Home, with visitation from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
