She graduated from North Side High School and earned her Associate’s degree from International Business College.
Jane worked at Brooklyn Medical Associates for 11 years and retired from Insurance and Risk Management in 2007.
She was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and the great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer (John) Rehder of Clearwater, FL; Gena Shepard and John (Dawn) Kohn both of Fort Wayne, IN; brother Ernest B. (Jackie) Payne of Evansville, IN; brother-in-law, Bernie Hay of Fort Wayne, IN; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Brenda Hay.
Private committal and burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
