Janis I. Johnson Hudson

Janis I. Hudson, 62, of Ft Wayne, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. She was born October 10, 1947 in Ft Wayne. She was employed by Luginbill Wire Die Company for 12 years. Surviving are her husband, Dan C., of Ft Wayne; daughters, Janelle M. Hudson, of Ft Wayne; Jolene S. (Jamie L. Caudill) Smith, of Leo; Trisha N. (Sean L.) Moore, of Ft Wayne; grandchildren, Dustin Moore, Korbin Boehme, Kody Boehme, Daniel Moore, Destiny Moore and Colby Smith; brothers, Ronald (Shirley) Johnson, of MI; Dennis (Karen) Johnson, of Ft Wayne; Keith (Carolyn) Johnson, of FL and Steven (Becky) Johnson, of Woodburn; and her pet boxers, Gracie & Ginger. She was an avid Komet Hockey fan and was a season ticket holder. She loved going to her grandchildren's sporting events. She loved the beach, fishing, reading and knitting and keeping up with current events. Memorial Service is 11:00am Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. with calling 1 hr prior to service. Visitation 6-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
