Jean Krinn, 87, of Roanoke, IN went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1931 in Napolean, OH to Richard and Sarah (Sickmiller) Bruns. Jean graduated from Southside High School in 1950. On March 31, 1951, she married Wayne Krinn at Gospel Temple in Fort Wayne. Jean was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved her church family at Hope Missionary North Campus. Jean loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, loved ones, and friends. Survivors include her children; Mike Krinn, Cindy (Ralph) Asher, and Leslie Whinery, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and siblings; Jim (Sharon) Bruns and Nancy Loebert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings; Richard Bruns, Joann Hageman, and Marjorie Henschen, brother-in-laws, Dick Loebert, Robert Henschen, and John Hageman, and sister-in-law, Lois Bruns. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11am with calling one-hour prior from 10am-11am at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 3pm-7pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park following the funeral service. Memorial donations may be directed to Hope Missionary North Campus. Arrangements entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home of Fort Wayne.

Micheal,
I'm sorry for your loss . Our parents from that generation were so great to be around_we were so lucky.
I'm kinda under the weather but meshberger will be there for the both of us.

She was my grandma, my best friend!! I don't know how I'll ever go on without her but i know even if i could have her back i would never do that to her because shes happier now then shes ever been! Shes taught me so much over the 43 years that i was lucky enough to share with her . As for now i will miss her SO much but i will see her again someday in heaven! I love you so much grandma, i miss you so much already!! Saturdays will never be the same now that your gone!!

Jean will be remembered by her sweet and gentle kindness, her love for her precious Lord, and the sunshine that would always be found in the twinkling of her eyes. We will miss her for now and look forward to enjoying her company for the rest of eternity when we all get to heaven!
