Jean Markey

Jean L. Markey, 84, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her residence. Jean was born April 14, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio to Robert Van Cleave and Ramona V. Roberts. In 1965, Jean joined the bonding business founded by her mother, Ramona Bond, in 1948. She subsequently established it as Markey Bonding. Until her death, she remained a consultant to Markey Bonding, a fourth generation family-operated business. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Carl) Russo Chicago, Il., son, James C. Markey Ft. Wayne, brother, Robert Van Cleave Angola, grandchildren Daniel (Shar), Timothy, David, Joseph, Elisabeth Markey and Andrew (Amber) Russo. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ramona, son Paul, and sister Betty Baney.

Funeral services will be held Monday 2 P.M. November 10, 2014 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church 917 W. Jefferson St. Visitation Sunday 2-4 Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Wayne St. Chapel and 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
