Jeaneen Ruth Fry
September 8, 1932 – November 1, 2020
Jeaneen Ruth Fry, 88, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Saint Anne Home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born September 8, 1932 in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Leonidas and Ruth (Schultheis) Stouffer.
Jeaneen graduated from North Side High School in 1950. She married Clifford J. Fry on August 20, 1954, and they shared 47 wonderful years together. She worked at Lincoln Life for several years before staying home to raise her boys. She later enjoyed working part time at the Belmont store and Super Market Service.
Jeaneen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be missed dearly. She loved baking, reading, doing crossword and Springbok jigsaw puzzles, was an animal and bird lover, and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to laugh and had a smile that could light up the room. Jeaneen is survived by her sons, Michael (Judy) Fry of Yoder, IN, David (Jean) Fry of Fort Wayne, IN; granddaughter, Jaime (Gregory) Majewski of Fort Wayne, IN; grandsons, Jason (Tiffany) Fry of Wichita, KS, Adam Fry of Fort Wayne, IN, Robert (Kerry) Ybarra of Buffalo, NY, Jason Ybarra, and Geisha Everlight of Fort Wayne, IN; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Fry, Allison and Nolan Ybarra, Walter and Alice Majewski; Niece, Laura Townsend of Fort Wayne, IN; lifelong best friend, Sharon Meyer of Angola, IN; and granddog, Emma. Jeaneen was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff, in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert B. Stouffer, and great-grandson, Taylor G. Chavez.
The family would like to recognize and sincerely thank the entire staff (we would list names but are afraid of missing someone, you all know who you are) of Saint Anne Home--her home for the last six years--for their love, warmth, kindness, patience, and understanding as they provided exceptional care and support for mom and us. We would also like to thank the Heart to Heart Hospice caregivers team.
Private burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Arrangements by C.M Sloan Funeral Home (1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN).
Memorial donations may be made to the Allen County SPCA, Cancer Services of NE Indiana, or The Rescue Mission. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.dignitymemorial.com

Mike, David and family,
My deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace.
I will never forget the good times on Parnell Avenue. Two weeks ago, I lost Dick so I understand what you are going through.

I did not know Jeaneen personally but know her son Mike. She is a beautiful lady who raised a wonderful son. May she rest in the arms of Jesus and Cliff.
