

JEANNE N. (COMER) HAHN, 96, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Ashton Creek Health & Rehab, Fort Wayne. Born in Elkhart, Jeanne worked for Howards for several years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church; Cedar Creek Women's Club and Senior Women's Golf League. She was an active volunteer at the Dove's Nest for many years. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, dancing, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughters, Donna (Joe) Daniel and Marilyn Rafter, both of Fort Wayne; stepdaughters, Jeanette (Galen) Drawbaugh of Warsaw, Jane (Robert) Turnbow of Louden, Tenn.; stepson, Dennis (Janet) Hahn of Northfield, Minn.; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Bessie Neal, first husband Donald Comer, second husband, Walter Hahn, and her six siblings. Service is 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Heath Trampe officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
