Jeanne Sue Tracey

Jeanne Sue Tracey, 74, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on October 29, 2026. She was born June 16, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Harold and Elaine (Graue) Lopshire. She graduated from Elmhurst High School.

Jeanne devoted her life to her home and family, serving as a homemaker with steady care and constant attention to those she loved. In the everyday moments—especially at family dinners—her lively spirit and quick sense of humor shone through, bringing warmth, laughter, and a feeling of togetherness that will be deeply missed.

In 1974, she married the late Richard D. “Rick” Tracey Jr., who preceded her in death in 2007. Jeanne’s love for her family was the center of her life, and her grandchildren were the “Light of her life.” She is survived by her children, Kelly E. (David) LaHaine of Michigan and Ryan R. (Danielle) Tracey of Fort Wayne; and her grandchildren, Mara, Jacob, Zachary, and Andrew. She is also lovingly remembered by her fur grandbabies: Boomer, Luna, Athena, Penelope, and Chloe.

Jeanne enjoyed shopping and treasured the simple joy of gathering around the table for family dinners. She also loved traveling to Hawaii with her husband, and she had a special fondness for the color Pink—an expression of the bright, spirited presence she carried into the lives of those around her.

To honor her wishes, cremation will occur, followed by private burial at Perry Township Cemetery.
