Jeffrey Allen Dutt

Jeffrey Allen Dutt, 59, of Fort Wayne passed away on July 21, 2025. Born on September 26, 1965. Jeff graduated from Purdue University in 1989, earning a bachelor's degree in computer science. He worked for Johnson & Johnson MedTech (Orthopedics) for thirteen years as a Senior Clinical Data Analyst. As a lifetime Fort Wayne resident, he enjoyed attending the annual Cherry Blossom and Three Rivers festivals, as well as volunteering with Purdue Master Gardeners. Jeff was an avid gardener, keeping a variety of flowers and plants at his home. Being a fan of Japanese culture, he was also fond of anime shows such as One Piece and Naruto. Always willing to help his family, Jeff dutifully stepped up to take care of his father during late-stage Alzheimer's disease and will be fondly remembered for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. Jeff is survived by his sister, Faye Dutt of Garrett, IN; brother, Franklin (Lisa) Dutt, Jr. of Ossian, IN; along with nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Dutt, Sr. and Betty (Pruitt) Dutt; and sister, Mattie Flake. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Purdue Master Gardens 4001 Crescent Avenue Fort Wayne, Indiana 46815. Please bring a memory of Jeff to share.
