JEREMIAH PORTER, 26, passed away Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at home. Born in Fort Wayne, Jeremiah was a graduate of South Side High School. He work-ed with Hoffman Inc. and McDon-ald's. Surviving are his mother, Valerie Lee; father, Earnest Porter; brothers, Isaiah Porter and Kevin Williams; sister, Shyanne Porter; grandfather, Bobby Mims; niece, Kamiyah Powell; grandfather, Ronald Bynum; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elouise Bynum, Mildred and Eddie Porter. Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the family.
