Jerry Dean Hill
June 15, 1942 – January 30, 2020

Jerry Dean Hill, 77, passed away on January 30, 2020 peacefully at home. He was born June 15, 1942 in Fort Wayne, IN.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was in Vietnam. He graduated from Purdue University as a Mechanical Engineer. Jerry worked for Peter Eckrich, BF Goodrich, Orii Corporation and Buckeye Electric.
Jerry was an avid motorcycle fan and owned a BMW motorcycle that he put together himself which still sits in his garage today. He loved traveling and his beloved pets. Jerry also built their home from the ground up and provided his family with a grand life. He loved the Lord and was strong in his faith.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed making memories with his family.
Jerry and Freda would have celebrated 55 years on May 1, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Freda; children, Dawn (Rex) Kock, Heather Hill; two grandchildren, Seth and Kacy Kock; brothers, Richard (Susan) Hill and Archie (Mary) Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferrol and Violet Hill.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 pm, on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Fellowship Missionary Church, 2536 E. Tillman Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46816. Visitation will be 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
