Jerry J. Moore, age 95, passed away in his home on September 10th, 2026. Jerry was born in Laketon, Indiana to Forest and Cleo Moore. He attended Laketon High School and Manchester University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business and went on to get a certificate in banking. Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked many years at Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber Real Estate Group in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He loved sports of all kinds, reading, fishing, and mushroom hunting. In his retirement, Jerry spent his time following his favorite sport teams and keeping up with his family. When asked about his health, Jerry would always say he was doing pretty good, given his age. Jerry is survived by his sister Carol (Walker) Dick, his son Michael Moore, his grandchildren: Rowan Smith, Raven (Brian Motta), Savannah (Noah Smith), and Tesla Moore. He is also survived by great grandchildren: Zaiden, Lilah, and Lucas. There will be no public viewing or services.
