Jerry Ernest Redden, 78, died unexpectedly on March 25, 2021 following a brief illness. Born February 21, 1943, a son of the late Ernest and Judy (Roemke) Redden, he was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne.

Jerry was a graduate of North Side High School and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Following high school, he served in the USAF, and then returned home to work as a car mechanic until retiring. Jerry leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Rita Lambert Redden; sisters, Janet Gleason, and Rita Fleck; a brother, Daryl Redden; and many nephews and nieces.

A private funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 with burial to follow at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
