Jimmy D. McIntosh, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Lutheran Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer. Born June 25, 1946 in Hazard, Ky., he was a son of the late Harlen and Hazel (Campbell) McIntosh. He owned and operated the Personal Touch Hair Replacement Center and cherished friendships with his clients. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Dettmer) of Fort Wayne; son, Joel (Jessica) McIntosh of Fort Wayne; brother, Roger (Penny) McIntosh of New Haven; sister, Bonnie Colwell of Hazard, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin McIntosh, William McIntosh, and Paul McIntosh; sisters, Delores McIntosh and Vicki Harter; and brother-in-law, Richard Harter. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Rd., with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Dan Prus officiating. Visitation will also be Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Grace Summit Church.
