Your mom will be so missed! She was always such an inspiration to me of the type of person I want to be. Her love for her family was very obvious and she always spoke of you boys and how proud she was. I am so happy that she is no longer suffering but I will miss her terribly.

David and Jeff, when my daughters, Amelia and Nelwyn, played soccer, we were often on the field with the Bond family. What fond memories I have of those times. I will always think of your mother as such a calm presence with that engaging smile. No matter what life brought her, she seemed to adapt and bring contentment with her. Joanie was one of the few angels on this earth, and now she's with our Lord. We will miss her sweet personality and her smiling face.

Joan was such a wonderful person and a lovely lady, inside and out.  I enjoyed every conversation with her, whether it was at one of our Illsley events or when she would come by my house and stop for a minute to chat.  She was a wonderful neighbor and friend.  We will miss her.

Joan was one of the kindest women I ever met.  Jeff, Jennifer, and David were very, very lucky.  Her strength through adversity is to be admired.  This world has lost some light--but her joy will not be forgotten.
