To all of Joan's family, we are sending our deepest sympathy , all the love, prayers and happy positive thoughts to help get through this difficult time. We also admired all the love and caring that she gave to us and all those organizations that she helped. I really enjoyed our very fun, loving cousins weekends, Joan always added some great laughs. May God provide Joan's family with comfort at her passing. I was on the board of directors for the Steuben Co. Council on Aging with Joan for several years before I was hired as the Executive Director. I always appreciated her leadership and the teamwork that she and Tom always exhibited together. When God called me full time to ministry, Joan and Tom were some of my greatest encouragers and I shall never forget our times of prayer and discussion together. May she rest in peace in heaven with her beloved Tom. In Christ's service - Pastor Donna Holcomb

So sorry to hear about your loss. Your house was like a second home to me and she was like a second mother. Lisa and I would leave South Side High school and eat lunch at the house almost everyday. Had lots of good times there. Thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

You were such a wonderful part of my growing up years into the recent years. I remember when you were a teen ager and you and Pat would come to Lake James and sooth your sun burns at our house in Angola. I was in your wedding and it was a very proud moment in my life that you even asked me. Then our cousin trips! What a wonderful time in my live to be with so much wonderful family! I will miss your wonderful smile and sweet laugh!

Prayers and love are with you!
