JoAnn Coleman, 88, of Fort Wayne passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 25, 1932 in Muncie, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Bernadine (Barnhart) Ray. She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church and the Muncie Central Alumni. She enjoyed watching gameshows, crocheting, bowling, camping, doing puzzles, and painting ceramics. JoAnn had a passion for spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Robert Coleman, Larry Coleman, Steve Coleman, Nancy Fisher, Judy Walzer and Linda Bezek; grandchildren, Kelly Coleman, Jennifer Powelson, Robert, Kristina (Wolfe), James, Ashley, and Jordan Fisher, Katie, Kristen, Karly Walzer, and Thomas Bezek; 13 Great Grandchildren; and 4 Great Great Grandchildren with one on the way. Preceding her in death was her husband of 60 years Gene Coleman, Grandson Joshua Coleman, and her Cousin Roberta Davis. Visitation begins at 10am; with a funeral service at 12pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809.
