Joanne A. (Parson) Weber, 86, of Fort Wayne, Indiana died October 23, 2026, surrounded by her children. She was born October 4, 1940, in Paulding, Ohio to Lloyd and Allie Parson. Joni worked as an RN at Parkview and later as a Clinical Nursing Instructor. She loved learning, earning a master’s degree. She was deeply committed to holistic and mental health, the environment, and advocated for peace and justice. She had a lifelong love of music and reading. A Master Gardener, she beautified the world around her and was a beloved friend to many.
Joni is survived by her children, Joseph (Jodi) Weber, Christina (Frank) Paladino, Kathleen (Randy) Zion and Andrew (Myra) Weber; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and brother, William “Caleb” Parson.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am, on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Unity of Fort Wayne Spiritual Center, 3232 Crescent Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
