

John Vincent Bachle, 63, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away Wednesday June 28, 2023 in Dayton, Ohio. He was born in Jackson, MI, the son of the late Carl and Patricia Bachle. John graduated from Lumen Christi Catholic High School in Jackson, MI, in 1978 and earned his Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1991. He was the Quality Engineering Manager for Skytech Products Group. John enjoyed sailing, traveling, cruising, trains, and was a true cookie monster. He loved them baked or raw! He was an avid Notre Dame fan and was an usher for the football team. John was a Scoutmaster, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the neighborhood handyman. He was a past board member for the local NPR station, was an avid lover of theatre and the arts, and worked for 7 years as the head stagehand for Woodside and Homestead Show Choirs. He had a bright smile as wide as the sea and a heart as deep as the ocean. He was always happy to step up and help someone in need. In his final offering, John was an organ donor and has been able to help over 100 people with his last gift to others.
John is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jennifer (Ziepiela) Bachle of Fort Wayne, IN; son Michael Vincent Bachle of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Lauren E Bachle (Anthony Ogilvie) of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Anne (Mark) Fifer of Grand Rapids, MI; Karen (Dan) Bishop of Mason, MI; and brother, James Bachle of Mason, MI.
Mass of Christian Resurrection will be 11:00 AM Thursday July 13, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 10700 Aboite Center Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4-8 pm. Wednesday July 12, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home 8325 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN.
