Well, I’ll be jiggered, John Bennett, 82, played his final hole here on earth on September 8, 2022 and walked into God’s clubhouse were his loving wife, Theresa has been (im)patiently waiting to play a round together. His gallery also consists of his father and mother, Don and Margaret Bennett; his sister and brother-in-law, Bob and Sally August; his in-laws Frank and Evelyn Lebrato; his daughters, Tammy (Brian) Houser and Kim Allen; and grandson, Jonathan Blair. Rounding the back nine here on earth are his sister, Betty (Jim); brother; Don; daughters, Vickie and Kristine (Jeff); sons, Greg, Chris (Deb), Curtis (Lourdes) and Eric (Robin). Also available as caddies are his 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. For those of you wondering, “What the hotel bill is going on?” the family will hold an end of life celebration at Brookwood Golf Course on September 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
