John Dean Bovie, 78, passed away March 2, 2024, at Grey Stone Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born June 10, 1945 in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of the late Donald and Kathleen Bovie. He graduated from Central High School in 1964. John was a U.S. Army Veteran and served from 1966-1969. He was in sales most of his life and worked at Quality Foods and Wisekopf Industries.
He is survived by his daughters, Sonja Bovie of Ossian, IN; Kelly (Kris) Urick of Fort Wayne, IN; and his faithful companion, his dog Shasta. John was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon S. Bovie in 2006, and a brother, Richard Bovie.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday March, 7, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN.
