

JOHN H. DONNELLY, 82, of Fort Wayne and Sun City Center Fla., died Sunday, April 12, 2015. He had a wonderful sense of humor and great Irish wit. He was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. Born in New York City, he was a son of Patrick and Margaret (Henry) Donnelly Jamieson. John grew up in Camden, Maine. He served in the Army in Baumholder and Kaiserslauten Germany during the Korean War. He earned a MBA from University of St. Francis. He worked for Burroughs Corp. for 26 years, General Electric Information Services, and retired in 1988 as owner and CEO of Computer Solutions. He enjoyed woodworking, metalworking, wood carving and playing the organ. John was a volunteer driver for Sun City Ride and Samaritan Services. He attended the Chapel. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna; son, David (Margo) Donnelly; daughter, Denise (Dennis); grandsons, David Jr., John and Craig Donnelly and Ross Kibby of Fort Wayne; sister, Mildred (Arne) Swanson; brother, Judson (Donna) Jamieson; and sister-in-law, Anne Jamieson. Private service will be held.
