John was born September 23, 1935, in Louisville, KY to parents John and Lois Field. He graduated from University of Louisville and Saint Francis College, earning a Master’s of Science Degree. During his career, he worked for Magnavox and Raytheon as an Electronics Engineer.
He was an outdoorsman at heart, enjoying his free time woodworking and canoeing. Nothing brought him more happiness though than spending time with family and friends at Willy’s Family Restaurant.
John is survived by his son Dave (Mindy) Field; sister Marylynn (John) Roberts; grandson Jason Field; and granddaughter Jessica Field; niece Debbie (Gary) Drenth and nephew Christopher (Hannah) Roberts.
He is predeceased by parents John and Lois Field; and sister Jackie (Warren) Standafer; a nephew Scott Standafer.
