John Ronald Judd, 81, passed away on January 7, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Columbia, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri graduating with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration degrees along with an Army commission. John retired from the Army after 21 years to include service in Vietnam. He later retired from Raytheon after 23 years where he was a system development logistics manager and a certified professional logistician.
After retirement, John volunteered with the American Red Cross, deploying to numerous natural disasters and with AARP Tax-Aid. John enjoyed reading, travel, and golf.
John is survived by his wife, Angele, of 53 years; sons, John R. (Shelly) Judd II of Fort Wayne, and Steven (Rebecca) Judd of Chicago, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Patrick Judd and Megan Judd also of Fort Wayne. He was predeceased by his parents, William Glenn and Helen Frances Judd; brother, Michael Judd; and sister, Glenda Masters all of Columbia.
At John's request, no Memorial Services will be held.
