John was a class act who without question loved his family. Like Dan Hallenback I go all the way back to 1975 at ORCC where John’s influence first began, I’m so happy we were able to play golf again in 2019. RIP dear friend

I met John when I was an assistant golf pro at the Ridge in 1974 and we became fast friends. So glad that I was able to play so many rounds of golf with him in his later years. Such a gentleman, loving father and grandfather. He was one of the most influential men in my life, and I am saddened that I did not get to spend much time with him since I moved to the Cincinnati area a decade ago. RIP.
