Lori and family-so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Jerry has good memories of being close friends with Doug in Jr. High and I have memories of being at your home for dinners and having our first born children around the same time. You were nice enough to bring baby and come visit us before we moved to Oregon...that would have been 40 years ago. Thinking of you..love, Julie and Jerry Rich

Lori and family, accept my deapest sympathy. My memories of Doug was your family living on Fairfield and Doug walking down to my store for some libations. Ironic how we both ended up working for Belmont for all those years. He was appreciated by all his co-workers. He enjoyed talking about his daughters, his corvette, the lake and his motorcycle, but most of all Lori. He always enjoyed the jokes we played on each other at the South Harrison Belmont. I will miss him.

I’m very sorry to hear of Doug’s passing. I have a lot of great memories when we were young kids. Playing little league baseball with his dad as our coach. I will never forget the time we got picked up by the Bluffton police on Main Street on a Friday night riding our bikes in down town Bluffton. They made us walk our bikes down Main Street to the police station and kept them for a couple days. We had to go home and tell our parents!

Lori & Family: Sue & I offer our condolences to you & family on Doug's passing. He was very dedicated taking care of our lawn & landscape at Lake George in a very professional manner. I always enjoyed the time at the end of each lawn care visit we shared stories of classic cars and such of our youth. He was always fun to talk to sharing that big smile no matter what was going on. Please take comfort he made a big difference with the people he touched.
May God bless & comfort you.
