John Perry Wright Jr., 84, of Marion, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion, IN. Born March 4, 1936 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late John Perry Wright Sr. and Elizabeth Evelyn (Rice) Sitcler. John proudly served as an Inventory Management Supervisor in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He enjoyed rock hunting, collecting gems, minerals and fossils in Utah. He also enjoyed word puzzles and watching pro wrestling. He is survived by his son, Matthew (Susana) Wright of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sarah Wright of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Moncerrat Loera, Julianna Wright, and Devon Wright; one great-grandchild, Tyrun Deangelo Garner; and brother, Dennis Sitcler of Mountain View, CA. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kaye Wright; siblings, Joseph E. Wright, Ralph R. Wright, Paul R. Wright, Diana Scribner, and David Sitcler; and stepfather, Edward Sitcler. Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2020 at Advantage-Mungovan, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
