

Johnny Lee Gayday, 60, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital. Born February 11, 1960 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Stephan and Anna (Stashchyshyn) Gayday. A graduate of Elmhurst High School, class of 1978, Johnny was a Northern Indiana Area Construction Supervisor with Comcast for 40 years. A sports fanatic, he was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and restoring cars, being especially fond of his '73 Trans Am. A family man, he treasured time spent with his family and loved to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events. He will be greatly missed by so many. He is survived by his children, Johnny Gayday of Fort Wayne, Natasha (Curtis) Nestleroad of Woodburn, and Kristian Gayday of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Paityn Lauck, Parker Lauck, Faith Nestleroad, and Cooper Nestleroad; siblings, Nina Brunson of Angola, Paula (Jeff) Zollman of Kokomo, and Steve Gayday of Fort Wayne; nephews, Jason (Jennifer) Brunson of Auburn and Matthew (Carrie) Zollman of Fishers; great-nieces and nephews, Alec Brunson, Isabella Brunson, Amelia Zollman, and Adeline Zollman. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Natacha Gayday. Funeral Service is 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Advantage-Mungovan, 2114 South Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Father Andrew Jarmus officiating.
