Jon Peter Shopoff

Jon Peter Shopoff, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was born April 18, 1943 in Fort Wayne, son to the late Peter and Anna (Hadjieff) Shopoff. Jon was a South Side High School graduate, served in the Indiana National Guard, and owned and operated Shopoff's Drive-In in Syracuse for nearly 40 years. Jon was a friend and mentor to his siblings, and his hard work and generosity endeared him to the local community. Jon is survived by his daughter, Marna Shopoff of Indianapolis, his two grandchildren, and siblings, Carl Shopoff, Virginia Hoover, and Robert Shopoff, all of Fort Wayne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Jennifer Shopoff. A Celebration of Life gathering for Jon will be held Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Homes, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
