Joseph S. King

Joseph S. King, 86, of New Haven passed away on December 13, 2021 at home. Joe was the son of the late William and Beatrice (McGinnis) King. He attended Southside High School. Joe retired from banking and real estate in 2005. Surviving family includes his wife of 55 years, Elaine (Scheumann) King; daughter, Taya (Brian) Hyde; son, Mike (Leslie) King; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara King. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in passing by his brother, Alan King. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Avenue Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. Memorial contributions can be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Cancer services of Northeastern Indiana.
