

Joseph Ojeda, passed away peacefully at home. He was born in Texas and later became a longtime resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he graduated from Central High School and built a life centered on family, service, and hard work.
Joseph was a husband to his beloved wife of more than 60 years and a proud father to six children, grandfather to seven, and several great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for supporting and love for those closest to him.
Joseph worked many years for A&P/Kroger and later for Tokheim Corporation, where he earned the respect of coworkers through his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment. He also honorably served his country after being drafted into the Armed Forces.
Beyond his career and military service, Joseph believed deeply in helping others and strengthening his community. He held leadership roles with the United Way, Cancer Services, and the UAW, giving generously of his time and energy to causes that mattered to him.
In his free time, he enjoyed landscaping, woodworking projects with his granddaughter, outings with his wife and friends, and attending his son's softball games, making friends with his teammates.
Joseph will be remembered for his kindness and the example he set through a lifetime of service to his family, workplace, and community. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength that will continue to live on in all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
