Joyce Ann Brown, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023. Born on October 22, 1934, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Hallie (Carrier) Worman. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, a natural caregiver, her lasting legacy will be the love of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, William L Brown; daughters, Karen (Terry) Blair, JoQuetia (Phillip) Eatherly, Gina (Kenneth) Bacon, and Kimberly (Jeffrey) Brooks; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin Blair; brother, Carl Worman; and sister, Mary Worman-Davis.
Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Monday, February 20, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 6pm, Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, immediately following the funeral service, Monday, February 20, 2023. Memorial donations may be given to Shriner’s Childrens Hospital.
