Judith Lea Apollo

Judith Lea APOLLO, age 77, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. Judith was born July 27, 1944 in Lawton, OK. She was the daughter of Walter and Faye Zonker who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son James Apollo Jr and nephew Bobby Schmidt. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne and International Business College class of 1964. She was head secretary for Allen County Adult Probation Department. Over the years she volunteered at the Fort Wayne VA hospital and Girls Scouts of America. Judith was a member of Fort Wayne Beta Theta Chi Sorority. She is survived by a family who will miss her dearly. Daughters; Princess Apollo, Aimee Apollo of North Port , FL, Angela Apollo-Anabtawi ; 2 sisters Twyla (Bill) Schmidt, and Cathy Craig; A Half-sister Karen Zonker-Baker; grandchildren; Jamie, David, Abigail,and Celeste Hendry, Basil, Tariq, Dunia Anabtawi, and Nadia (Michael) Hibler, Sergio, Adriana, and Humberto Espino, great-grandchildren; Ezrah Miller, Aidan, Lilly, and Cameron Hibler, Elijah Guerrero, 2 nieces; Jennifer Schmidt, and Marcy Craig, and nephews Dan Schmidt and Robert Craig. A visitation for Judith will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Burial at Bowers Cemetery immediately following the funeral. Preferred memorials to Grey Stone Health & Rehab Center (Activity Department), National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and Pathway Community Church Fort Wayne.
