Judith Ann Garrison

Judith Ann Garrison, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born August 6, 1947 in Betsy Layne, KY, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Bethel (Hunt) Daniels. In her teenage years, Judith began working as an in-home babysitter to families in Michigan. Then, she moved to Huntington, IN, where she was employed with H.K. Porter for over 5 years. She later retired from Essex, Fort Wayne, after over 20 years of service. A generous woman, she always put others before herself and never stopped being a mother and grandma. She was a strong woman with a spitfire personality. She enjoyed cooking; her family absolutely loved her homemade coleslaw, mac and cheese, and biscuits and gravy. She is survived by her sons, Terry Hicks of Fort Wayne, Steve (Lexi) Hicks of Gas City, IN, Michael (Brandy) Hicks of Fort Wayne, and Barry Hicks of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank Daniels of Ypsilanti, MI. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gary Daniels; and sister, Susie Adkins.
