Judith Lynn Suelzer

Judith Lynn Suelzer, 74, passed away Saturday February 12, 2022 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice. She was born March 14, 1947 in Fort Wayne, IN., the daughter of the late Bernard and Claire Elizabeth Thomas.

Judith graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1965. She was the lunch lady at St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years and also worked in the office at Carpet One for over 15 years. Judith was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church Fort Wayne and was a 50 plus year member of Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casinos, and playing cards. Judith will always be remembered for having the “best laugh ever.” Judith is survived by her children, Michelle (Greg) Pollick, Anthony (Lisa) Suelzer both of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Kathleen, and Sydney Suelzer; brother, John Thomas of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Suelzer in 2017; grandson, Keegan Suelzer; and her sister, Rose Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2120 South Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also take place from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
