Judith Kay Wilson, 75, of Crown Point, passed away on January 22, 2021. Born on July 17, 1945, in Hammond, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Jeanette Heisterberg. Judith was an English teacher for over 20 years, working with middle school students, and later working with children who struggle to read. She was an avid IU fan, marching band enthusiast, crime show afficianado, and loved her family above all else. She is survived by her sister, Jo Ann (James) Haag, of Crown Point; son, David (Vicki) Wilson, of Palatine, Illinois; daughter, Cathy Reid, of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Rebecca (Garrett), of Fishers, Joshua (Clarice) , of Fort Wayne, Benjamin, of Palatine, Illinois, and Chloe, of Palatine, Illinois; and a proud great-grandmother to Penny and Weston.
Memorial service will be 3:00pm, Thursday, January 28, 2021, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
