Judy Ann Klages, 77, passed away November 22, 2024, at Celebrate Senior Living in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born June 8, 1947, in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of the late Franklin B. Koehl and Betty J. Cunningham.
She graduated from South Side High School and enjoyed crochet, word searches, and reading the Bible. She was particularly fond of her shows on the History Channel and hoped that one day they would finally find the treasure on The Curse of Oak Island. She never met a stranger because everyone was just a friend she hadn't spoken to yet. She was always quick with a laugh, hug, or crazy story. She will be truly missed by her family and anyone who was lucky enough to call her a friend.
Judy is survived by her children, Kip K. Klages, David P. (Heather) Klages II, Shawn O. (Jennifer) Klages; grandchildren, Kathleen, Kallista, Capone, Savanna, Aubrey, Crysta, Kaeden, Kolton, Ayla, Celina; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, David P. Klages (11/21/2006), and her brother, Barry D. Koehl.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 am Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation two hours prior. Burial and Committal will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Marion National Cemetery,1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN 46953.
Memorials in Judy's honor may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
