Julia (Judy) Ellen MacMillan passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 84. She was born on August 29, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Lenore J. (Garwood) MacMillan and John V. MacMillan. Julia graduated in 1951 from Southside High School. She worked at Zollner Corporation for twenty-four years and then retired from Parkview Hospital in 1998.
Julia was a member of First Wayne Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Trinity Chapter #576 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her brother, John G. MacMillan, in 2013. Surviving are three nieces, one nephew and two cousins.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home, Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805. The family will greet visitors from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Allen County SPCA, 4914 S.
