Julia Jean Welker

Julia Jean Welker, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Lutheran Life Villages. She was born September 30, 1949 in Wolf Lake, Indiana, daughter to the late Robert and Betty Sefcik. She was a U. S. Air Force Veteran and worked for the Indiana Air National Guard in warehouse management. Surviving are her son, Scott Nickels; granddaughter, Rachel Nickels; sister, Carol Zimmerman; nephew, Matthew (Cathy) Zimmerman; and niece, Jennifer Zimmerman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Daniel Welker. A private family service will be held.
