Julie Ann Mettert, 31, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. Born on December 1, 1993, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to parents Jules B. Mettert and Kimberly A. Sliger, Julie will be deeply missed. She attended Wayne High School for two years before graduating in 2012 at Northrop High School. She found joy and purpose in her work as a party entertainer with Sweet Cakes Entertainment, where she brought smiles to countless faces through balloon art and face painting. Julie had a vibrant spirit. She cherished time spent with her friends and had a special love for animals, especially cats. Her feline companion, Sprinkle, held a treasured place in her heart. Julie is survived by her parents, Jules B. Mettert and Kimberly A. Sliger, and sister, Jessica Sliger-Mettert. A private service will be held by the family.
