Karen worked for General Electric aircraft division (which was purchased by Lockheed Martin) for 25 years.
She loved all young children, especially her 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She also loved going to plays and musicals. She was an awesome seamstress having created several interiors for antique cars being restored by her late husband Larry. She was also a talented artist, having painted several butterflies and hummingbirds.
Karen is survived by her children, Steven (Barbara) Lehman, Thomas (Kathy) Lehman, William “Bill” (Shawn) Lehman; sisters Sally Andre of Canton, GA and Jill Hoffman of League City, TX.
She was predeceased in death by her parents Woodrow and Georgia Utterback; her husband, Larry Lehman; her brother Max Utterback and sister Gloria Raichart
Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Burial services will be held at 3:00 pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
