She graduated from Homestead High School, where she was a member of Show Choir and Key Club. She also volunteered at Turnstone Center for Disabilities and was a Girl Scout Leader throughout the years. She loved to go shopping, eating out with family, beaches, and her doll collection. Halloween and Christmas were always her favorite times of year.
Katherine is survived by her mother, Diane C. Diem; brother, Nicholas S. Diem; and nephew, Cooper J. Diem.
She was preceded by her father, Steven H. Diem.

Visitation will be held at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls, located at 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46804, on November 17, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on November 18, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on November 18, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.
A graveside service will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, located at 8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN, 46804, on November 18, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
