Kathleen “Kathy” Donley, 64, passed away on December 2, 2018 after suffering from diabetes and kidney failure. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on September 7, 1954, the daughter of the late John and Marion Kloer. Kathy was a graduate of North side high school. She then went to work for Dana Corporation until 1988 when she purchased the River Tavern. Kathy met her husband, Mike in 1988 and spent a wonderful 30 years together. She retired from River Tavern in 2007. Traveling to Canada with her sister,and to Florida with her best friend, Pam were some of her favorite past times. Surviving are her husband, Mike Donley; son, Roland “Lee” Shockley; and granddaughter, Emma Shockley. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Kloer, and sister, Carol Scott. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Mungovan Simple, 2114 S. Calhoun St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802. Memorial contributions may be made to the diabetes or kidney foundation.
