Kathleen "Kathy" Ternet

Kathleen "Kathy" Ternet, 71, passed away February 25, 2018 at her home in Cape Coral, FL. Kathy was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, IN and a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1965. She worked at McJons and Seyfert's Foods prior to moving to Cape Coral, FL in 1997 where she worked at Hess Corp for 10 years before retiring. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Dennis Ternet of Cape Coral, FL; 3 children, Kenneth Ternet of Cape Coral, FL, Denise (Troy) Tompkins of Fort Wayne, and Anthony (Elizabeth) Ternet of Fort Wayne: 6 grandchildren, Tyler (Claire Doak) Tompkins, Allison Tompkins, Kaylei Tompkins, Tristan Ternet, Ian Ternet, and Hannah Ternet; 3 great-grandchildren, Mia, Frances, and Oliver; brother, Martin (Diane) McNerney of Fort Wayne; and sister-in-law, Deborah Ternet of Tucson, AZ. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, James and Wanda McNerney nee Kirchner. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am, Monday, March 5, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 518 E Dewald, Fort Wayne with calling one-half hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm with a Rosary service at 6:00 pm. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
