Kathleen L. "Kathy" Vice, 73, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Kathy was born on July 3, 1950 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Charles and Bernita (Gumbert) Weaver. She was a graduate of Elmhurst High School. She retired from Rolls Royce in Indianapolis after 15 years. She also worked for Dana Weatherhead in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her dog, Popeye. She will also be remembered as a very outgoing, social, and happy person. Her family and her faith were very important to her. Surviving family include her sister, Kimberly Weaver; stepsister, Phyllis Jane Moore; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon (Joseph Michael) Frantz; and niece, Jennifer Frantz. Memorial service will be 6:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 4:00 pm.
