Katie Rose Burns, 13 passed away Friday August 27, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born May 13, 2008 in Fort Wayne, IN. She attended Northcrest Elementary School and Northwood Junior High School. Katie ran cross-country and loved to build puzzles and play with Legos.
She is survived by her father, Jeffrey Howard (Karen Campbell) Burns of Fort Wayne, IN; mother Catherine Burns, grandparents, Beverley Burns, Kenn and Jacque Critton, siblings Austin Conklin, Chelsie Steel, Desiree Burns , Kurtis Pridgen, Deziree Stuber, Renee (Dustin) Janson, Krystal Rennels, Uncle James Burns Jr., Uncle Warren (Mary) Campbell and Aunt Joy (Dennis) Jacobs, nieces and nephews, Maddie, Harper, Remington, Evelyn, Noah, Emmary, Cash, Nicholas, Faith, Kallie, Cristian. Katie was preceded in death by her grandpa, James Burns, niece Ellie, nephew Kooper, and a cousin Lucas.
Funeral Service will be 10 am Saturday September 4, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne IN., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also 2-4 and 6-8 Friday September 3, 2021 at the funeral home. Entombment at Covington Memorials Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Jeffery Burns.
